We are proposing a working relationship to provide you with the necessary support for you to offer a complete range of services for rural property. Using this option will allow you the opportunity to provide Ministry of Health Approved septic system services for homeowners and contractors that would like to install their own septic systems.

Ministry of Health Homeowner Installation Option

  • This option was created when the Sewerage System Regulation was amended to enhance onsite management systems within British Columbia
  • It allows for the construction and repair of septic systems by non-certified companies under supervision of an authorized person; such as one of our regional agents.

Wondering how it works?

  • The Homeowner or Contractor starts by filling out an an ONLINE FORM to qualify
  • We will review and qualify them for the Home Owner Option.
  • Once qualified, we will provide a site investigation involving your company digging two six foot holes in the septic system area and doing percolation or permeameter tests.
  • An estimate / workquote is sent to the CUSTOMER.
  • We will coordinate to commence the project using your excavation services.

This can be a very profitable opportunity for excavation contractors who have had to turn down work because of the extensive regulations. We can work together to not only provide full service to the homeowner but also help you make sure that each project goes as smoothly as possible while using our economical products.
